Project Health
Project Health flags issues that could keep a project from opening cleanly: missing files, missing plugins or samples, and sets saved with an older Ableton version. You decide which issues matter, and Audyn surfaces them across your whole library.
What Audyn checks
Audyn runs up to four health checks on each project. Every check can be turned on or off independently.
Missing project file
The project's .als file is no longer on disk. Helps you spot projects that live on a drive that isn't connected, or that were moved outside your scan folders.
Missing plugins
The project uses one or more plugins that aren't installed on your system. Opening it in Ableton would show "plugin not found" placeholders.
Missing samples
One or more audio files referenced by the project can't be found at their saved path.
Ableton schema changed
The project was saved with an older Ableton version than the one installed on your system. Opening it will prompt Ableton to upgrade and re-save the set. Audyn detects this by comparing the project's schema version against your installed Ableton's Core Library. This check is off by default.
Choosing which checks count
Open Settings > Project Health to toggle each check on or off. A project's health status only reflects the checks you've enabled, so you can focus on the issues that matter to your workflow. Changes apply immediately to the projects list and the dashboard.
Ignoring plugins
Some "missing" plugins are missing on purpose: one you uninstalled deliberately, a Mac-only plugin on a Windows machine, or a tool you've since replaced. You can tell Audyn to ignore specific plugins so they no longer count as missing.
Three scopes
Ignore a plugin globally (across your whole library), for a single project, or for an entire collection. Global and collection rules are managed in Settings > Project Health; project-level rules are added from a project's Plugins tab.
From a project
In a project's Plugins tab, each plugin shows whether it's installed, missing, or ignored. Click "Ignore" to stop counting a missing plugin against that project, or "Restore" to start counting it again.
Where health appears
Once enabled, health surfaces in three places:
Projects list
A Health column shows how many issues each project has, so you can sort by it and spot problem projects at a glance.
Project overview
Each project's Overview tab has a health section listing its specific issues, or a "healthy" indicator when there are none.
Dashboard
The Health Alerts widget lists the projects with the most pressing issues, with quick links to open them.
