Dashboard

The Dashboard is a customizable grid of widgets that gives you a bird's-eye view of your library: statistics, charts, pending tasks, health alerts, and quick actions. Arrange it however you like.

Overview

The Dashboard summarizes your entire library through a set of widgets you can rearrange, resize, add, and remove. Open it any time from the sidebar.

Customizing your dashboard

Click the Edit button to enter edit mode. From there you can drag widgets by their handle to rearrange them, resize them from the corner, add new widgets, or remove ones you don't need. Use "Add widget" to browse the full catalog, or "Reset" to return to the default layout. Your arrangement is saved automatically on your machine.

Build a layout per habit: keep quick-action widgets (Scan, Open Ableton) at the top for daily use, and push charts further down for occasional review.

Available widgets

Widgets are grouped into four categories. A few are Pro-only.

Statistics

Compact number cards: total projects, collections, versions, total duration, templates, stale (long-untouched) projects, and installed plugins (Pro).

Charts

Visual breakdowns: status distribution, most-used plugins (Pro), tempo distribution, a key wheel, genre breakdown, a production heatmap, time signatures, and a tempo-versus-genre scatter plot.

Lists

Live lists: pending todos, the recent activity log, recently modified projects, and health alerts (Pro).

Quick actions

One-click tools: rescan your library, open the database folder, launch Ableton, or jump to a random project.

A few widgets — installed-plugin stats, the most-used-plugins chart, and health alerts — require Pro.
